ABOUT US

I am a licensed Cosmetologist with over 30 years of experience. My story that began this journey began during the time that I was employed under John at a unisex beauty salon at “Adam & Eve Total Look” in 1993. John decided to open up Barber Pole Parlors with Enzo Morales and asked me to work for one which was the TarryTown shop that I would later inherit. I took over “The Barber Pole” during Covid19 pandemic on June 15, 2020; and became the new owner of, “The Barber Pole Soaring Cuts, XYZ, Inc.”. I was blessed to inherit from my last Employer’s John Vacarro & Enzo Moralas the place that I was employed by them since June 1996-June 2020 (after Covid-19). Their reason was that they felt I deserved the shop for the devotion that I had for their shop which they could never pay me enough for. I decided to keep the shop’s unique looking Antique Barber Shop decor. Unfortunately, due to high rent and escalation charges of my landlord. I decided to downsize & move on to the place just steps away basically across the street, with John and Enzo’s memorabilia decor to serve & accommodated all our clients that have been with me for years. The newest smallest coziest shop, since October 2026, now called,“The Barber Pole Nook” would love to accommodate you as well. Please come and enjoy the journey with me into the future… Patricia Harrison , President.
